With the new year comes the sales…and of course new releases from the fashion world. Elldrews latest crush is the Mulberry ‘Small Clipper Leather-Trimmed Canvas Holdall Bag’. The perfect bag for those weekend getaways and we are loving the brown and vivid blue tones. One word: WANT. Contact us if anyone is interested in sending us one HAHA. Happy New Year one and all, let’s make 2014 amazing!
After a day amongst the mass market ‘Made in China’ jubilee paraphernalia of Oxford Street, it’s nice to step back in time to how things really were when the Queen came to the throne. We are of course referring to Elldrew’s favourite little shop in the world – and sit down because this is not some chic Italian designer or a Parisian Couture house (although subject to a recent Vogue magazine shoot) – but Blustons on Kentish Town High Street.
So we’ve decided we have to not fall into the category of blogging everything and anything just because we can…that’s what Facebook is for isn’t it? However, whilst looking through some camera photos we came across this little beauty, the B.zero1 from Bulgari. Such a classic ring oozing style and sophistication that would complement any wardrobe, and finger. Dare we say ‘treat yourself’, or let someone else do it for you.
So we must admit, the last three ‘luxury’ belts we have purchased have either come with instructions or been a trial to navigate and secure around the waist. We are loving the new Orlebar Brown ‘rope’ belt, in fact we purchased it in blue and white, and although only available in a limited range of colours, once you get your head around the ‘how to’ card and can comfortably look in the mirror and think ‘got it’, we believe it’s a bargain at £35 (and possibly one of the cheapest purchases from this famed swim/leisurewear brand). The metallic branded loop is the main feature of the belt.
You’ve got our vote OB and we are looking forward to knotting up many Summers with this classic belt.
